The hall are decorated beautifully with calligraphy and red packets, angpau, made into origami.
The food provided are Mandarin oranges, Chinese biscuits and Yee Sang. While waiting for the event to start, people were mingling around the table, trying out various delicacies prepared for them.
The hosts for tonight's event are Rong Liang and Kai Voon, dressed in matching CNY outfits. They started the night by inviting attendees to participate in a game. All participators were awarded with oranges as a token of spontaneity.
After the long awaited event, it was finally the time to Lou Yee Sang. People gathered around two buffet tables, grabbed their chopsticks and waited for the countdown. It was merry and fun as attendees of multiple races get to enjoy mixing the Yee Sang.
All PKC members then entertained the crowd by dancing to a Chinese song.
It was a good night to learn about festivities practiced by Malaysian Chinese, a chance to experience something new.
